bangkok, here we come!!!

it's official. troy and i are going with marilyn and frank to bangkok. we will be leaving december 30 of this year, and come back january 8 of 2006. i sent off my renewal for my passport today (it expires this year) and ordered troy's birth certificate so we can get his. i am so excited! marilyn and frank go about twice a year, so i feel better going with someone who knows the country well. our plans are to fly into bangkok, hang out there for a few days, then go to shangmai (sp?). in shangmai we will hang out with some locals that marilyn knows. we will elephant ride to our destination (how exciting!!)shop, drink, eat, and visit a huge buddhist temple. then we go back to thailand, and fly home.... i can't wait...
